Soul retrieval is at the front right hand side of a shaman’s tool belt. It is for what goes beneath the surface of the skin and tissue, the quickest, most powerful route to changing the trajectory a particular soul is on.
I will say that when the trajectory is one of comfortable unconsciousness, the awakening process can be extremely challenging. Often, it raises the lid on things that have been hidden from view for a long time. Universal Soul Retrieval is a process by which not just one, but all soul parts are returned to the client.
How it happens
A person decides they want the work doing, instructs me to do the work and makes a payment in accordance with what they can afford.
Two important factors to appreciate:
- I can’t do the work unless I’m instructed. I can’t for instance decide someone needs it and just start it myself. You can't instruct me on another persons behalf. The instruction must come from the person.
- I need to be paid for the work, a transfer must take place. There is a sliding scale of payment based on the individual. It’s not about the financial so much as the transfer, but yes, I do need money to survive where I currently live.
Once these two preliminary hurdles have been overcome the work begins.
Often it starts with me tuning in to the energy signature of the client, then dreams and visions begin and with the help of my guides we get on with whatever needs doing.
This is done under dream or meditative states but mostly in a trance like state under the beat of my drum. It takes days or sometimes weeks in linear time to complete the process.
The idea of entering different dimensions to connect with someone on this plane of existence can sometimes seem a little far fetched for the uninitiated, this I can appreciate. For those that have worked with plant medicines and/or had their own mystical experiences it becomes a much more normalised concept.
"DURING HIS INITIATION, THE SHAMAN LEARNS HOW TO PENETRATE INTO OTHER DIMENSIONS OF REALITY AND MAINTAIN HIMSELF THERE; HIS TRIALS, WHATEVER THE NATURE OF THEM, ENDOW HIM WITH A SENSITIVITY THAT CAN PERCEIVE AND INTEGRATE THESE NEW EXPERIENCES... THROUGH THE STRANGELY SHARPENED SENSES OF THE SHAMAN THE SACRED MANIFESTS ITSELF." ELIADE 1957
As the process progresses, I give written reports to the client to keep them abreast of the comings and goings of what I’m doing. This often helps to explain why they’re feeling a certain way or why certain memories or emotions are coming to the surface. I do this work remotely, which again, some people have a problem with understanding. Not so difficult to grasp once you’ve had the work done. I can do it in person if required, it’s just not necessary for me or the client.
Why soul loss happens
Yes, why would anyone need a soul part retrieving and what am I actually talking about. As souls we have travelled many dimensions and lifetimes, previous to finding ourselves in the present moment. Whenever we experience trauma, the impact on the soul can cause a piece or shard to fragment away. This unresolved loss follows us through our lifetimes. Often a person will be missing many soul parts following lifetimes of trauma with little or no healing.
How they are returned
As mentioned a shaman enters a trance like state for the purposes of travel, no need for space shuttles or airplane tickets. This is where things get weird, wonderful and diverse. What happens next is largely dependent on the soul and what it's previous story is. From here, anything can and will happen. I work with a number of guides too, that are always on hand to point me in the right direction, assist and advise. The soul parts themselves will enter into a dialogue with us, our job being to bring them home. The work will often require that healing and upgrading is performed for the client before the soul parts will return. Some of this is etheric, some relates very much to this plane and everyday life.
I will say results do vary, on the whole they are extremely encouraging and many of the clients I have performed USRs for report profound and positive changes in their lives. For a small percentage, facing their truth has been too much. I reiterate that instructing me on a USR is not something to be taken lightly. It might not seem as challenging as a trip to Peru to work with a teacher plant such as Ayahuasca, however, for many clients it has been just that. A roller coaster, and once you’re on, you’re on.
